In 1960, at the age of 16, she and Larry were married and had 62 wonderful years together. When Larry joined the Air Force she became a military wife, and together they lived all over the world. The life she and Larry made together allowed them to experience a variety of cultures and meet many interesting people. She loved being a mom to her two boys and taught them how to be good people and loving parents. She enjoyed reading, traveling, sewing, and writing short stories for her granddaughters. Most of all she enjoyed being a grandparent to three amazing grandchildren and a great-grandmother to a new great-grandson. Sandy always put her family first, her loving and caring nature will be forever missed.
