Melanie Yvette Williams

-Clyo- Melanie Yvette Williams, 45, passed away at Effingham County Hospital on Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Melanie was born in Jacksonville, Florida on December 25, 1976, and had lived in Effingham County for a number of years. She enjoyed being outdoors working in the garden or hiking. She was 1995 graduate of West Oak High School in Westminster, SC and went on to further her education at North Georgia Technical College, where she earned degrees in photography and massage therapy. Melanie will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Golden and Bertha Robinson and John and Fannie Parnell; uncles, David Parnell, Mike Parnell and Greg Robinson; and great nephew, Easton Whitaker.

She leaves behind her mother, Vivian Robinson of Clyo; father and step-mother, Robert and Fredda Robinson of Anderson, SC; fiancé, T.J. Deason of Clyo;  sisters and brothers-in-law, Danielle and Jeffery Haller of Greenville, SC, and Stephanie and Micah Murphy of Evans, GA; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2 – 4pm at Carlson and Riggs Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
