James "Buck" Wallace

Mr. James “Buck” Aubry Wallace, 53, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

James was known as Buck or Uncle Buck by most everyone around him. If there was a get together or a cookout Buck was always the first to be invited and was always there. He had so many friends of all ages that he loved so much. Buck loved seeing everyone laughing and having a good time. He was the shoulder everyone needed at different times or reasons, and he gave it willingly.

He had been employed at the Sugar Refinery for 32 years.

James was preceded in death by his father and mother Herman and Thelma Wallace, and his brother Ricky Wallace.

Survivors include: his sister, Peggy (Danny) Dester; brother, Jeremy (Amanda) Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10am on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
