Herbert Wayne Bruner

Herbert “Bruno” Wayne Bruner, 68, passed away, Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Candler Hospital in Savannah.

He was born in Candler County and lived all his life in Effingham.

Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching all sports, especially when his Georgia Bulldogs played.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Bruner; sister, Debbie Bruner; son, Danny Bruner; and nephew, Robert T. Bruner.

Survivors include his wife, Vickie V. Bruner; daughters, Dana B. Causey (Rodney), and Jennifer Ellis; sons, Ken Bruner, Jason Ellis (Lisa) and Corey Ellis; his mother, Hazel Bruner; brother, Bobby Bruner (Brenda); sister, Bonnie Bruner; 12 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.
