Elaine C. Scott

-Savannah- Mrs. Elaine C. Scott,88, passed away at her daughter’s residence on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, under the care of Hospice Savannah.

Elaine was born in Savannah, Georgia on July 3, 1932 to Laurie and Marion Cole. She was a member of Midway First Baptist Church and the Windsor Forest Senior Center. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and adoring her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Whitley Scott; and parents, Laurie, and Marion Cole.

Survivors include: her daughter, Brenda Bailey; son, James W. Scott, Sr.; daughter, Susie Oglesby (Danny); grandchildren, Christina Mock (Daniel), James Scott, Jr.; Veronica Savage (Greg), Danny W. Oglesby III (Erin), Harold Bailey, Jr., and Courtney Proctor (Justin); great grandchildren, Donald Autrey, Alex Hughes, Kaylie  Dupont, Livia Savage, Autumn Scott, Leanna Scott, Christopher Bartlett, Lex Bartlett, Zachary Bartlett, Olivia Proctor, Maddie Mock, and David Mock; half siblings, Olivie Wright, Darnell Cole, and Emory Cole.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 12, 2021, at Midway United Methodist Church.
