Desiree Ivey

Desiree Ivey, 58, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at her residence.

She was born April 16, 1963, in Oliver, Georgia to Choice Mars and Loureathea Jones Walker. Mrs. Ivey was an associate degree graduate of Savannah Tech. She enjoyed writing poems and stories, facetiming her grandchildren, and crocheting. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.

Mrs. Ivey is preceded in death by her father, Choice Mars; mother, Loureathea Walker; siblings, James Jones Sr, William Robert Jones, Roberta Fleming, Reuben Jones, Rita Ivey, Choice Mars Jr., Choice Ann Ivey, Calvin M., Willie M., and John M.

She is survived by her children, Volanda (Don) Ivey, Jameyia (Brian) Henley, Jakeyia (Rashad) Brown; grandchildren, Zhy’Quel, Zhi’Yana, Tahziyah, Terrance Jr., Tydrian, Emarion, Malaijha, Exavion, Taneyia, Makhenzi, Thomas, Tyson, and Kaliyah; her special boys, Justin, Jason, and their 9 Children; siblings, Victor (Sarah) Ivey, Howard (Joyce) Ivey, Michael Ivey, Lawrence Ivey, Jonas (Brenda) Ivey, Connie Natson, Clarice Thomas, Helen Mobley, Sweetie (Joe) Hudson, Marva Ivey, Tonya Ivey, and Carolyn (Cleveland) Grant.
