Brian Paul Corbitt

Brian “Easy” Paul Corbitt, 52, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.

Brian was born on November 25, 1970, in Jacksonville, Florida to Arthur and Judith Corbitt. He moved to Effingham County in the late 80’s and has lived in Guyton for 17 years. He graduated from Effingham County High School and earned a Master Technician Degree. Working as a master technician for many years, his last job was at Carma Auto Care in Pooler.

Easy was very well known and loved by many people in Effingham County. He loved everyone and was always joking and cutting up. With a heart of gold, Brian would give you his last crumpled up dollar if you needed it. Easy always told you he loved you before he left.

He leaves behind: his loving wife, Lynne Mikell Corbitt; children, Matthew Corbitt(Makala Deas), Samantha Corbitt, Mag Corbitt, and Chrystal Jeffcoat(Bryan); grandsons, Mads Corbitt, Zane Higdon, and Zachary Higdon; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Redmond.

A celebration of life will be held at The Brass Rail in Guyton on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 6-8:30pm.
