Angela Steed Joyner

-Springfield- Mrs. Angela “Weezie” Steed Joyner, 63, passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Effingham County Hospital.

Mrs. Angela was born in Savannah, Georgia on May 19, 1958, to Malcolm and Mary Steed.  She enjoyed cooking for family and canning the vegetable that her husband grew, however her greatest joy came through spending time with her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Malcolm Steed; and brother, James Darrell Steed.

Survivors include: her loving husband of 44 years, Donnie Joyner; sons, Mickey Joyner (Rachel) of Springfield; and J.D. Joyner of Springfield; grandchildren, Hunter Joyner, Conner Joyner, Jake Joyner, Skylar Joyner, and Lilly Joyner; mother, Mary Steed of Clyo; brothers, Benji Steed of Clyo, Bruce Steed of Hilton Head, and Byron Steed of Clyo; sister, Terri Mock (David) of Newington; and number of nieces, nephews, and friends.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 5-7pm at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 11am with burial to follow at Silverhill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
