Clyo- Walter Lee Mercer, 58, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center, Statesboro, GA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Irvin Walter Mercer and Mildred Steed Mercer, sisters Cacelia Mitchell, Margaret Williams, and Carlotta Smith. Brother-in-law Malcolm Steed.
Survivors include his sister Mary Helen Steed and brother Austin Mercer (Beverly) and cousin Linda Mercer, all of Clyo. Several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, August 26, 2022, at Justin and Kendra Fail’s home.
