-Clyo- Mr. Walter Joseph McKenzie,71, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at his Georgia residence.
Mr. McKenzie was born in Hardeville, South Caroline on October 15, 1946. He was a Veteran serving in the United States Air Force and had worked in shipping and receiving at Georgia Pacific.
He is survived by his loving wife, Theylar Hopf; daughter, Laura McKenzie; grandsons, Kirred and Draven; step daughters, Tinker Hopf and Donna Bazemore both of Clyo; step son; Leroy Hopf, Jr. of Stokes Bluff, SC; 15 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at his Georgia residence on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 1:00 p.m.
