Wallace Randall Faircloth, Jr., 54, passed away suddenly at his home in Guyton, Georgia on April 18, 2022. Randy was born on March 10, 1968, in Aiken, South Carolina. He moved to Statesboro, Georgia in his younger years, and attended Bulloch County schools. Randy was known as one of the last "old school” truck drivers, working for various trucking companies throughout his years. Randy worked at AIS Intermodal in Garden City, where he found his work family.
Randy was a force of nature, rough around the edges, but a loving man to all. His chosen family meant more to him than anything else in the world. His greatest joys were spending time with his wife, Lori, at their home in Guyton. He was always working in the yard or tinkering with the newest technology. Randy was a Jack-of-All trades.
Randy had the gift of making everyone feel like family. He constantly made a point of checking on people and helping when he could. This loss was completely unexpected leaving family and friends shocked and deeply saddened. He will truly be missed in so many ways.
Randy is survived by his wife, Lori Faircloth of Guyton; his children, Brandon Faircloth (Aaliyah), and Justin Faircloth; and his grandson, Josiah Faircloth. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Barbara Brown Forbes (Franklin); brother-in-law, Matt Brown (Courtney); and his stepchildren, Amy Presley, Will Presley, and Valarie Thompson (Adam), and their daughter, Emersyn. His mother, Judy Starling, and his brothers, Michael Starling, and Ricky Starling also survive him. He will be especially missed by Bob and Linda (aka “Lady”) Kight, whom he loved like parents. Randy was preceded in death by his father, Randall Faircloth Sr., and his brother, Wesley Glen Faircloth.
A graveside service will be held at Bulloch Memorial Gardens on Friday, April 22, 2022, at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home, Guyton, to help with funeral expenses.
