-Guyton- Mrs. Virginia Romine, 89, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018, at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Virginia was born in Hiltonia, Georgia on June 16, 1928 to Hugh and Ola Barefield. She was a homemaker and of the baptist faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ola Barefield; and several half sisters and half brothers.
Survivors include: her son, William Richard Boyd (Carolyn); daughter, Beverly Harding (Gilbert); step-daughters, Patricia Leong, Brenda Romine and Dorothy Crawford; brother, Ronald Barefield (Harriet); sister, Lena Crabtree; 3 grandchildren, 7 step grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 28 from 10:30-11:30AM with funeral services to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 11:30AM. Interment will be held in the Hillcrest Abby West Cemetery.
