Thomas Curtis Altman

-Springfield- Mr. Thomas Curtis Altman, 62, passed away at his residence on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

Thomas was born in Savannah, Georgia on November 2, 1960, to the late Annette and H.J. Altman, Jr. He worked as a lineman for many years, working for Utilities, Pike, Sumter Utilities, and most recently Utec. In his free time, Thomas enjoyed riding motorcycles and fast cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Annette and H.J. Altman, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Roger Butler.

Survivors include: his sister, Frances Butler of Stilson; brother, Philip Altman of Guyton; nieces and nephews, Dana Sites (Eddie), Kerri Butler, Kyle Butler (Kayla) all of Stilson; great nephews, Clay and Colt Sites both of Stilson; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends; and beloved four-legged companion, Merle.

Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
