Theylar "Faye" Hopf, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, gracefully left this world on January 17, 2024, at her residence in Clyo.
She was born on June 3, 1945, and her departure has left a void that cannot be filled. Faye's vibrant spirit and warm heart touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Faye's dedication and commitment were evident in her career at Walmart, where she dedicated an incredible 23 years of her life. Her hard work and positive attitude left a lasting impact on both her colleagues and customers. Faye had an exceptional ability to make connections with others. She truly never met a stranger. Her friendly demeanor and genuine interest in people made her a cherished figure in the community.
In addition to her successful career, Faye had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her joy throughout her life. She found solace near the water while fishing, appreciating the peacefulness it offered. An avid bird lover, Faye held a special place in her heart for cardinals. Their vibrant red feathers brought delight to her days.
Shopping was another passion that brought Faye immense happiness. Whether it was searching for the perfect bargain or simply perusing the aisles for something new, she enjoyed every minute spent indulging in this pastime. However, of all her interests, none compared to the love she had for her family.
Faye was preceded in death by; Leroy Hopf Sr., Robert Wheeler, Joseph McKenzie, Bobby McFatter, Brenda Bragg, and Lawrence Cranford.
Faye's family held a special place in her heart which overflowed with love and devotion towards each one of them. She leaves behind two daughters: Dorothy "Tinker" Hopf (Robert) and Donna Bazemore (Tony), as well as a son: Leroy Hopf Jr. (Kathy). Faye also leaves behind stepchildren, Robert Wheeler (Judy), Buddy Wheeler (Missy), and Cindy Butler (Mike); and a host of grandchildren, Jamie Clifton (Ryan), JC Clifton (Karilee), Casey Cranford (Chris), Heather Graham (Brandon), Chris Bragg (Brooke), Cierra Boyer (Cruz), Misty Molina (Rich), Steven Hopf (Rose) and many great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.
