Tammy Dale Kanger

Tammy Dale Drury Blackmon Kanger, 59, of Bloomingdale, Georgia and wife of Bryan Kanger, died at her residence with her family by her side.

Born on December 8, 1966, in Brunswick, Georgia to the late Ervin Drury and the late Debbie Gates. After high school she earned her bachelor’s degree and worked at Savannah Morning News as the manager of circulation. Tammy enjoyed traveling and cruise ships. She also liked boating and camping. Tammy was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Those who will cherish her memory are her husband of 8 years, Bryani Kanger; sons and daughters-in-law, Trey & Jessica Blackmon and Freddie & Brittany Blackmon; her daughter Regina Blackmon; brothers, John Gates and Eric Gates; sister, Lisa Grimes; her grandchildren, Malachi and Layla, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home.

Tammy will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the many hearts he touched throughout her lifetime.
