Stephen "Stevie" Earl Venable

Rincon- Stephen “Stevie” Earl Venable, 44, passed away on July 11, 2019, at Effingham County Hospital.

He was born May 1, 1975 in Savannah to Sheila Lamb Venable and the late Douglas Venable. He was the grandson of the late O.H. Lamb, Sr. and Geneva Lamb of Rincon.

Stevie enjoyed life. He was always playing practical jokes, and always made everyone laugh. Being outdoors, fishing, working on cars and racing around in his car brought great joy to his life. Stevie had a big heart and loved spending time with his children. He was loved by all his children and was always there for them no matter what. He will be truly missed and has impacted many people’s lives.

Surviving is his spouse of 10 years, Shelley Headrick; children, William Logan Venable and Haley Alexis Venable of Springfield, Madison Geneva Venable of Rincon, and Sara Beth Venable of Guyton; stepdaughter, Emily Danielle Headrick of Guyton. He is also survived by his mother, Sheila L. Venable; brothers, Sonny Douglas Venable of Athens, GA, and David Wayne Crapps of Guyton; and sister Patricia Joy Venable-Trainor.
