Sarah Fay Loper

-Springfield-Mrs. Sarah F. Loper, 68, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Mrs. Loper was a former resident of Bluffton SC., and owner of Loper's Cleaning Service before she moved to Georgia after becoming disabled in 1993. She has resided in Springfield for the past 10 years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George Washington Phillips and Mittie Amelia Hayes of Atlanta Ga.; siblings: sister, Carolyn Phillips West of Sav. Ga., and brothers, Melvin George Phillips, Donald Wayne Phillips, and David Ray Phillips all of Atlanta Ga.
Survivors include: her 3 children: daughters, Lena K. Lang of Bluffton SC and Gwen K. Messex of Springfield, Ga; son, Raymond B. Loper (Lisa Loper) of Valdosta Ga.;10 Grandchildren; Carey Messex III, (Brittany Messex), James Lang III, (Brieanna Horne), Nolan Messex Sr.(Jessica Flippo),Brittany Loper, Brandy Loper, Alivia Messex (Joseph Sheehan), Lindsey Lang, Ray Loper, Auren Loper, Presley Lang and Foster Grandson, Jerry Smith; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Kendyl Lee and Kaylen Sara Messex (Alexis Hulst), Faith Ann Messex (Nicole Bruno Messex), Colton Loper, Coltyn Lang, and Nolan Lee Messex Jr.; several nieces and nephews and her beloved Cats: Elf, Caesar, Jenna and Princess.
Thank you to the Nurses & Staff of Bethany Hospice and Home Nurse for their dedication and compassionate care! A very special thank you to Mrs. Shawn Elijah of Home Nurse, for her 2 years of dedication, care, companionship and becoming part of our family!
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 4-6pm with memorial services to follow at 6pm at Riggs Funeral Home
