Sandra Faye Johnson

Sandra Faye Johnson, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in Statesboro, Georgia, on Friday, May 8th, 2026, at the age of 75.

Sandra was born on Sunday, May 6th, 1951, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a proud high school graduate and went on to have a fulfilling career as a Bail Bondsman with Aikens Bonding, where her dedication and strong work ethic were highly regarded.

Throughout her life, Sandra cherished spending time with her family and especially found joy in her role as a grandmother. She loved dancing and created countless joyful memories with her loved ones, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Scott and Blanche Jenkins brother Waynard Scott.

Sandra is survived by her children, Jason (Danielle) Townsend, Waylon Johnson, and Christy (Slate) Williams; her brother, Raymond (Bobbi) Scott; and her cherished grandchildren, Courtney (Kevin) Townsend, Morgan Townsend, J.T. Townsend, Megan (Kyle) Marona, Jacob Crowley, D.J. Johnson, and Gracie Johnson. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Cooper Rahn, Kennedy and Kamden Saxon, Hendley Howell, and Max Marona.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton, Georgia on Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to attend, to remember and honor a life well-lived.

Sandra will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends, leaving a legacy of love and joy.
