Russell Leslie Horn

Russell Leslie Horn, 81, of Springfield, Georgia died peacefully at Sprenger Healthcare of Bluffton on March 23, 2026.

He was born to the late Norbert Horn and the late Joyce Parks Horn on February 19, 1945, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He served in the United States Army and was a proud veteran. He loved fishing, cars, cooking, gardening, guns, and studying history. He also really enjoyed listening to music.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Longfellow, and his brother, Richard Horn.

Those who will cherish his memory are his loving wife Jewel “Judy” Edith Irwin Horn of 50 years; his son and daughter-in-law William & Tracy Longfellow; and his daughters and sons-in-law Nancy & Gene Johnson, Patti Anderson, Diana & Jay Weinmann, Christine & Trent Lundberg, Jennifer & Aaron Thomazin, Julie & Steve Johnson, and Sandy & Mike Johnson; brother Gerry Horn; sister Karen Hodgman; 24 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
