Ronald E. Rodeffer " Double R"

Mr. Ronald E. Rodeffer "Double R", 74, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017, at his home in Springfield, Georgia, after an extended illness. His faithful companion/caregiver, Judy Robinson Reiser, was with him at his time of death.

Ron was a native of Eaton, Ohio, but had lived in Georgia for many years. He retired from Keen Transport, Inc. after nearly thirty years. Ron's favorite pastime was being on one of his tractors mowing grass.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Carolyn Rodeffer; parents, Chelsea S. and Mary V. Rodeffer; and brother, Chelsea A. Rodeffer.

He is survived by: loving companion, Judy Robinson Reiser; son. Ronald E. Rodeffer II (Lora Ingram of Eaton, Ohio; siblings, Mary Lou Hakes (William) of Eaton, Paul E. Rodeffer (Nancy) of Eaton, Samuel A. Rodeffer of West Alexandria, Ohio and Nancy L. Replogle (Charles) of Cockeysville, Maryland; grandson, Lane Rodeffer of Eaton; and thirteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 4 - 5 p.m. with Memorial Services to follow at 5 p.m. Additional Memorial Services will be held at Beulah Land in Eaton, Ohio on May 13, 2017.
