It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger Dale Swindell, 56, a beloved father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Roger departed this life on Thursday, June 25th, 2026, at his residence in Pembroke, GA.
He was born on October 15, 1969, in Savannah, GA to his parents Roger Dale Swindell Sr. and Peggy Sue Berryhill. Roger was a dedicated and hardworking employee at Dustcom, where his spirited personality and relentless work ethic left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the company alike. He was known for lighting up a room with his contagious smile and for being the life of the party, always ready with a joke to bring laughter to those around him.
An enthusiast of hunting and a passionate car fixer, Roger was often found tinkering in his shed, ever open-minded and eager to learn something new. His straightforward approach to life and warm-hearted nature endeared him to many, and he cherished the bonds he built through his journey.
Roger was preceded in death by his mother Peggy Sue Berryhill and his sisters, Phillis Thompson and Melissa Swindell.
Roger leaves behind his loving daughters, Brooke Swindell (Chris), and Ashley Swindell, sister; Sandra Screen, his adored grandchildren: Trevor Saunders, Nicholas Garcia, Selena Garcia, and Kelsi Cook, and several nieces and nephews, cousins, coworkers, and friends, who all mourn the loss of a truly remarkable man.
