Rodney Stephens

Rodney Stephens,73, passed away at his residence on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Guyton, Georgia.
 
Rodney was born in Savannah on April 22, 1950, and was a resident of Effingham County throughout his lifetime. He served his country with pride in the Air Force and was stationed in Korea. In his free time, Rodney enjoyed watching crime shows and treasured every moment spent with his cherished chihuahuas.
 
He is reunited in eternal peace with his late wife, Margaret Anne Stephens; and son, Troy Stephens. Rodney leaves behind a son, Christopher Stephens; and his seven beloved four-legged companions – Benji, Max, Bear, Salt, Coco, Hersey, and Eve.
 
Rodney will be remembered for his dedication to service, love for his furry friends, and the moments of joy he shared with all who knew him. 
 
 A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home. Interment, with military honors, will be held at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 10am.
