Robert "Bob" Burns Carpenter

Robert “Bob” Burns Carpenter, 59, passed away peacefully at his residence on April 8, 2026.

Born on April 21, 1966, in Wichita, Kansas, Bob was the son of James and Marilyn Carpenter. He shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Sharon Carpenter.

Bob found great joy in traveling and fishing, passions that brought him both adventure and peace. He also gave his time as a coach for the Special Olympics, where he made a meaningful impact on the lives of many.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marilyn Carpenter.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Sharon; his stepson, Woody Bird; his daughter, Jennifer Carpenter; his sister, Jessica Carpenter; and other family members and friends.

Bob will be deeply loved, fondly remembered, and greatly missed by all who knew him.
