Raymond David Westberry

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond David Westberry, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on Tuesday, August 11th, 2026, at the age of 82.

Raymond was born on October 16th, 1943, in Bradenton, Florida to his late parents Elzie and Olyne Westberry.

A man of simple pleasures, Raymond found joy in the serenity of nature. He was an avid gardener, cultivating a bountiful harvest of vegetables. His passion for scraping metal and recycling spoke to his practical nature. Many fond memories were created on fishing trips and camping adventures, where Raymond found solace and connection with the great outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie Leonard Westberry and Olyne Savannah Westberry; brothers, Rufus, Frank, Alvin and Tony

Raymond is remembered by his beloved wife of 60 years, Billie Faye Westberry, whose companionship and love were the cornerstone of his life. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising two devoted sons, David Westberry (Leslie) and Ivan Westberry (Amanda), who will forever cherish the values and wisdom imparted to them by their father. He will be remembered by his brother John, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were a source of immense pride and joy.

May Raymond rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and dearly missed by all.
