Raymond Marvin Sikes, 61, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016, at Candler Hospital.
Raymond was born in Savannah, Ga on August 3, 1955 to the late George Marvin and Margaret Sikes. He attended Wolcott School and Armstrong College. He went into business with his dad from 1974 until 1980 at Sikes' Auto Paint and Body Shop and later at TNT Wrecker Service. He also worked for Nationwise, Advance Auto and Auto Zone. He was a pro when it came to cars. His favorite hobbies were bowling and watching classic sci-fi shows.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Mary Katherine "Kathy" Sikes of Savannah; son, Raymond Bryan Sikes of Savannah; sister, Lisa Brown (Allen) of Tybee Island; sister-in-law, Laurie Taber (Shawn) of Bloomingdale and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Hospice Savannah for the care of their loved one.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, from 1 - 2 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be held in the Springfield Annex.
