Polly Ann Edwards

Polly Ann Edwards, 69, of Guyton, Georgia, died Friday morning, August 28, 2026, at her home.

She was born December 5, 1956, to the late Johnnie B. Edwards and the late Mary Jane Hyman Edwards. She was a member of Silver Hill Methodist Church. Polly loved to sing. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and canning. She liked to fish and crochet. Polly really loved taking care of her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Matthew Edwards and Mitchell Edwards.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Paul Hollingsworth, Jr., and Johnny & Tamatha Hollingsworth; her daughter and fiancé, Marcia Hollingsworth & Jack Frost; sister, Ethel Edwards; grandchildren, Cassie Bennett, Perry Hollingsworth, and Myrtiejane Frost; great-grandchildren, Hailie Baldree, Bella Baldree, Blake Bennett, and Dolton Bennett; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home Chapel on Friday morning, September 4, 2026, at 11 o'clock conducted by Pastor Nick Pumfrey.
