Patty Elizabeth Sutton

Patty Elizabeth Sutton, 72, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at her residence. She was born on January 30, 1951, in Monroe, Michigan to Richard and Audrey Pendelton Poupard.

Patty dedicated her professional life to Gulfstream Aerospace, where she made significant contributions during her 30 years of service. Her commitment and dedication to her work set an example for her colleagues and earned her the respect of those around her. Patty's accomplishments during her career will always be remembered with admiration.

Patty was of the Baptist faith and cherished her relationship with her Lord and Savior.

Outside of her career at Gulfstream Aerospace, Patty cherished her role within her family.

Patty leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her son, Danny Sutton (Jerrie); daughter, Holly Sutton; and son, Dikky Sutton were at the center of Patty's world. She was an incredible source of support and guidance for them throughout their lives.

Patty's love extended beyond her children to her grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life: Brandon Sutton (Britany), Danielle Sutton, Courtney Whitman, Ryan Driggers (Mallory), Logan Sutton (Brianna), Mason Sutton, Sylvia Sutton, Kageen Yeager (Jeremy). Her great-grandchildren, Lacey Sutton, Brantley Sutton, Haylee West Elliana Yeager, Grayson Everett Wayne Sutton, and arriving soon baby Stetson Wayne Driggers all held a very special place in her heart.

To honor Patty's life, a visitation will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at the Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home with a funeral service following the visitation at 2:00PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be held at Effingham Memorial Gardens.

Patty will forever be remembered as a woman of integrity, kindness, and strength. She had a warm heart and a radiant personality that immediately attracted those around her. Patty's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
