It is with heavy hearts that the Mack family announces the passing of their beloved dog, Paris, on June 3, 2025. A loyal companion, gentle protector, and cherished member of the family, Paris was attacked by a hawk in which she succumbed to her injuries. She later passed away peacefully in her human mother’s arms.
Adopted as a puppy in the fall of 2014, Paris quickly became the heart of the Mack household. Whether she was chasing squirrels up trees in the backyard, curled up at the feet of her favorite people during movie nights, or waiting patiently at the front door for her loved ones to come home from work, Paris brought joy, laughter, and comfort every single day.
Paris had a special way of knowing when someone needed a nudge of reassurance or a soft head to cry into. She was there for birthday parties, snow days, first days of school, and quiet Sunday afternoons. Her tail wags, soulful eyes, and unconditional love touched the lives of everyone who met her.
She is survived by her humans — Latasha, Ronald, Zachary, Raquasia and Amahri Mack — who will forever carry her pawprints in their hearts. She is also remembered fondly by her canine “sibling,” Rome, who she loved to playfully chase, wrestle and nap beside.
Paris, thank you for every moment, every wag, and every memory. You were not just a pet, but family — and our home will never be the same without you.
Run free, sweet girl. Until we meet again.
