Nell Marie Campbell

Nell Marie Campbell, 74, died on July 22, 2020, in Vidalia under the care of Community Hospice.

Nell was born May 27, 1946, in Putnam County, Florida, and lived in Garden City for many years before moving to Lyons.   She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, loved to travel, and had a passion for antiques and collectibles. She was known for her tenacious spirit, quick wit, and never give up attitude.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Trede; her brothers, Michael Trede and Richard Trede; her sister, Nancy Jandek; and her husband, Robert Campbell.

Survivors include: sons, Richard Williams and Eric Williams (Cristy); daughter, Tina Birthisel (Scott); stepsons, Michael Stanfield and Jimmy Stanfield; grandchildren, Ricky Williams (Megan), Brittany Williams, Ian Williams, Kayli Williams, Ben Birthisel, and Emilee Birthisel; brother, Douglas Wayne Trede; plus many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, July 25, 2020, at 11AM. A private interment will be held in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery
