Mrs. Verna Gnann McFatter

Verna Gnann McFatter, 74, went home to be with the Lord on Friday May 8, 2015. She was born in Clyo, Georgia in 1941 to the late Hubert and Carol Stone Gnann and has lived in Jacksonville since 1964. She was a school bus contractor for many years in Duval County. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Sue Gnann Littleton, Margarett Gnann and Charlene Gnann. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Bobby; sons, Chip McFatter and Jarrett McFatter (Kathy); sister, Ola Screws; grandchildren, Lynn McFatter, Jarrett McFatter Jr., Chris McFatter, Jeremy Lawson and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation was held on Monday, May 11, 2015 from 6 - 8 p,m. at Cedar Bay Funeral Home, 405 New Berlin Road, Jacksonville. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 1pm in the First Baptist Church of Oceanway, with Pastor Micah Strickland officiating. Interment with graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, at 2pm, Shawnee,GA. Riggs Funeral Home Guyton, Georgia
