Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth "Lib" Steed

-Springfield- Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth "Lib" Steed, 76, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2014. Mrs. Steed was a homemaker and a member of Silverhill United Methodist Church. Mrs. Steed is precedded in death by her parents, Bill and Selma Brant and a sister, Bert Williams. Survivors include: her husband, Lavonne Steed; three sons, Ardie Morgan, Eddie Morgan (Tammy) and Timmy Steed (Jenny) all of Springfield; two daughters, Denise Rahn (Bubba) and Marcia Burns (Doug) both of Springfield; five brothers, Leo Brant of Screven, GA, Alvin Brant of Camden County, David Brant of Rincon, Billie Brant of Camden County and Lannie Brant of Camden County; sister, Peggy Cannon of Rincon; thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 4,2014 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 4 p.m. with burial to follow at Silverhill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
