Mrs. Lorene Cribbs

-Savannah- Mrs. Lorene Cribbs, 87, passed away Monday, May 15, 2017, at her sister's residence.

Mrs. Cribbs was born in Claxton, Georgia on September 16, 1929 to Manson and Vonnie Hendricks. She was a homemaker and a member of Elam Egypt Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Cribbs, Sr.; son, Joe Cribbs, Jr.; brothers, Terrell Hendricks and Edwin Hendricks; and step-mom, Ginnie Hendricks.

Survivors include: her daughters, Barbara Cribbs of Savannah and Vickie Holland (David) of Stillwell, KS; sisters, Nedra Messex of Savannah and Dorothy McBride of Pooler; grandchildren, Barbra Canady (Byron), Karen Jones (Trevor), Eric Holland, Faith Garrett, Jamie Cribbs; and great-grandchildren, Joel Canady, Chance Canady, Sarah Jones, Katie Jones and Easton Knox.

Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Friday, May 19, 2017, from 4 - 6 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow in the Foy Cemetery at Elam Egypt.
