Mr. Sanford Underwood

-Pooler- Mr. Sanford Underwood, 93, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015, at Hospice of Savannah. Mr. Underwood was retired from Union Camp Corporation, was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in WWII and was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Survivors include his children, Gene Underwood of Meldrim, Sonny Underwood of Rincon, Carolyn Fields of Rincon and Betty Underwood of Texas; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at 10:30 a.m.i�½i�½on Tuesday, August 18, 2015, with funeral services to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
