Mr. James Allen Jerald

Rincon - Mr. James Allen Jerald, Sr., 70, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at his residence. Mr. Jerald was born in Savannah, but lived in Effingham County for many years. He retired from Clark Fork Lift as a mechanic, and was a member of First Christian Church of Rincon. Mr Jerald was preceeded in death by his Father, Allen Jerald and his mother and Step-father Mildred & John Pye. Survivors include his wife, Janet Jerald of Rincon; daughters, Krissy Jerald of Rincon and Missy Kiser of Springfield; sons, James Allen Jerald, Jr. of Miami, Eddie Linton and Gene Linton II, both of Savannah; three brothers, Richard, Barry and Lorren Jerald all of Columbia, SC; one sister, Joyce Fralix of Columbia, SC and 11 grandchildren and 9 great grand. Memorial maybe made to the American Diabetes Association, 5105 Paulson St. Suite C236, Savannah , Ga. 31405 Visitation will be held Friday, August 15, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 16, at 2 p.m. from First Christian Church in Rincon. Interment in Springfield cemetery. Mr. Jerald will lie in state one hour prior to service.
