Michael Joe Pevey, Jr.

Michael Joe Pevey, Jr.,49, born on February 12, 1975, in Savannah, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home in his sleep on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
 
Throughout his career in construction, Michael was recognized as someone who could do it all! His craftsmanship and commitment to his work left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of working alongside him.  Beyond his professional achievements, Michael's true joy stemmed from spending quality time with his loved ones.

Fondly remembered for his affection towards children, Michael had a special place in his heart for them. He found great joy in spoiling the younger members of the family, creating countless precious memories that will be treasured forever.
 
He is preceded in death by his son, Caleb O’Rien Pevey.
 
Survivors include: his children, Raven Nicole Ennis of Guyton, Chad Bryan Bowen of Guyton, Michael Dylan Mussen of Texas, Brittany Maygen Mussen of Savannah, Jacob Thomas Pevey of Eldora, Maya Jaiden Pevey of Guyton, Kyndal Reign Boatright of Guyton, Amara Nacole Boatright of Guyton, and Clinton Wood of Eldora; parents, Jenniffer June Schieber of Guyton, and Michael Joe Pevey, Sr. of Savannah; siblings, Michelle Bianca Stevens of Pembroke, Mary Leota Cribbs (David) of Springfield, Jeffrey Allen Pevey (Michelle) of Folkston, Annie Elizabeth Kendrick (James) of Eldora, Jessica Star Lucario of Guyton, Sunny Celeste Sheeder (Jody) of Warfordsburg, PA, and Daniel Joseph Hammock (Brittany) of Guyton; and nieces and nephews, Ashley Victoria Hernandez (Josh), Taylor Elaine Stevens, Sydney Breanna Pevey, Kayleigh Grace Pevey, Abigale Waters, Alaina Waters, Anzleigh Kendrick, Andrew Kendrick, Ashlen Kendrick, Valin Carter, Maria Carter, Alyssa Carter, Riley Sheeder, Tristan Sheeder, Tanner Sheeder, and Mercedes Villasranco.
 
Services to honor and celebrate Michael's life will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 903 Fort Howard Rd, Rincon, GA 31326.  A visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on June 7, 2024, followed by a Funeral Service at 5:00 PM.
