Mary Youlanda Benton-Kurth

Mary Youlanda Benton-Kurth, 61, passed away under hospice care on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at her home in Ellabell Ga, surrounded by her loving husband, children, and grandkids.

Mary was born on August 30, 1961, in Claxton Ga to Robert and Mary Benton. She lived in Ellabell, Ga and has lived in Bryan County, Ga most of her life. She loved to go on camping trips with her husband and grandkids and really enjoyed fishing. Mary was an amazing mom, grandma, and great grandma. One of her greatest passions was teaching her family that God and family are the most important parts of life.

Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Kurth; 5 children and their spouses, Brandy and Michael Abernathy, Bryan Purnell and Claudia, Jennifer and Adam Craun, Jamie Mussen, and Toby Mussen Jr. and Amanda; 24 grandkids and 3 great grandkids; parents, Robert and Mary Benton; 4 brothers and their spouses; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 3pm-4pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 4pm. A committal service will take place on Monday, July 24, 2023, at 11am in Pembroke, Ga at Northside Cemetery
