Margie Bell Starling, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 29th, 2026, at the age of 80.
Born in Madison, Florida, on January 14th, 1946, Margie led a full and loving life devoted to family, faith, and the simple joys of nature.
Margie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Malcolm Starling; her son Mark Bell; parents Ninie and Leona Bell, and her siblings, Ray (Jean) Bell, Fred (Annie) Bell, Lester (Katherine) Bell, Vernon Bell, and Lottie Mae Bell Stokely, in eternal rest.
Margie is survived by her son, Curtis Starling, alongside her sisters, Bobbie Littleton and Carlie Bell. Her legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren Samantha, Christy, Brooke, and Luke; her six great grandchildren.
Margie was a woman of faith whose spiritual life was deeply enriched by reading the Bible and scriptures. She enjoyed the quiet pursuits of gardening and bird watching, finding beauty in the simple miracles of nature. Margie also nurtured a personal passion for collecting porcelain dolls, a hobby that brought her much delight over the years. Despite her varied interests, it was the time spent with her family, particularly her grandchildren, that she valued most.
A dedicated Dental Assistant by profession, Margie touched the lives of countless individuals through her work, always offering kindness and understanding. Her caring spirit and warm smile left a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Margie's life on Friday, June 5th, 2026, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton, GA. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am.
Margie Bell Starling will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, a faithful friend, and an individual who lived her life with grace and dignity. Her warmth, compassion, and love will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
