Lois P. Stansbury

Mrs. Lois P. Stansbury,86, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, under the care of hospice at Coastal Carolina Hospital surrounded by family.

Mrs. Lois was born on May 5, 1933 in Sylvania, GA to the late Mr. and Mrs. R.J. Pierce. She settled in Effingham county and was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Rincon, GA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Weyman Stansbury; her daughter, Susie Ellette; her bother, Levon Pierce; and her sisters, Shelby and Linda.

Lois is survived by her children, Billy Stansbury, Debbie Stansbury (Carl), Liddy Stansbury (Diane), and Albert Stansbury. She is also survived by her sister, Martha Broward; and nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service will take place at 6pm on September 14, 2019 at Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
