Linda Ruth Nease

Linda Ruth Nease, 83, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with her loving family by her side.

Born on September 23, 1942, in Savannah, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Virginia Archer.

Linda was always known as the best-dressed woman in the room, carrying herself with grace and style wherever she went. She had a deep love for the outdoors and found joy in nature’s beauty. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. Above all, Linda cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Belagorska.

Linda leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her sons and daughters-in-law, Ed & Debra Nease of New Tripoli, PA, Ray & Nicole Nease of Guyton, GA, Joe Torres of Jacksonville, FL, and Chris & Amy Torres of Sylvania, GA; her daughter-in-law, Cheryl York; along with 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She will be dearly missed and forever loved by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o’clock on Thursday evening on February 19, 2026, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home at 1979 Hwy 119 S., in Guyton.

The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon on February 20, 2026, at the Sand Hill Baptist Church conducted by the Pastor David Feldkamp. Burial will follow at Woods Family Cemetery.
