Kaye R. Hunt, 68, of Rincon, GA, gained her heavenly wings on August 16, 2025, and went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born on January 17, 1957, and throughout her life, she shared her light, love, and generosity with everyone she met.
Kaye was a woman of extraordinary heart, with a gift for seeing the good in people and lifting them up with her kindness, humor, and unwavering faith. She was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who dedicated her life to caring for others and serving her community.
A hard worker through and through, Kaye was talented in many ways. She was an incredible baker, an artist when it came to designing cakes, and also shared her gift as a beautician, often cutting hair and giving perms to all the church ladies who adored her. She faithfully cooked and served meals every Wednesday for church services, catered weddings, and put her heart into every act of service she gave. Beyond her many talents, Kaye had a spirit full of joy and laughter, with a heart that was truly made of gold.
Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Raiford Rahn Sr. and Emily Williams; her sister, Renee Kellam; and her brother, Harold Rahn Jr.
She leaves behind her son, Chris Hunt; brother, Corey Rahn (Traci); sister, Lynette Phillips; sister-in-law, Melanie Rahn; nieces Megan Gill, Mandy Phillips, Amber Brunson, Ashley Brunson and Michaela Gilgen (Chris); and nephews, Evan Phillips (Laura), Matthew Gill, and Michael Rahn (Brianna). She also leaves behind several great nephews and nieces, and many loved ones who will forever cherish her memory, including her cousins, extended family, church family, and countless friends.
She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in all the lives she touched.
A celebration of Kaye’s life will be held at Oak Grove Church of Christ in Rincon, GA on Saturday Aug. 23rd, 2025, with visitation beginning at 11am and the service to follow at 12pm.
In her honor, the family encourages acts of kindness, service, and love, just as Kaye lived every day of her life.
