Joshua Iles Copeland

Joshua Iles Copeland, 37, of Bluffton, South Carolina passed away in his home on October 10, 2019.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 PM, Monday, October 14th at Riggs Funeral Home, 1979 Highway 119, South Guyton, GA 31312.

Josh was truly a great dad. He came into Hayley and Gabby’s lives as toddlers and raised them like the rest of the kids he had. He loved coaching any sport but spent countless hours coaching Hayley in softball and couldn’t have been prouder of her. Josh loved watching his boys grow in baseball, basketball, and football – coaching them at every opportunity.

His other love was his career. He truly loved his work and enjoyed his work family at TICO in Ridgeland, SC. He was known for his work ethic, his true love of any game, and his dedication to his children.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Copeland.

Josh is survived by: his children: Hayley Welsch, Gabryelle Welsch, Bradyn Copeland, Gage Copeland, and Charlotte Copeland; father, Mitch Copeland; mother, Carolyn Morgan Copeland; brothers, Nathan Copeland and Ian Copeland; grandmothers, Mary Lou Copeland and Judy Smoll; step-mom, Joy Adams; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
