Mr. Murrell was born in Savannah, Georgia on April 18, 1951 to Curtis and Marjorie Jones. He was a born again Christian who loved his family and friends. Fishing and tending to his animals and fruit trees brought great joy to his life.
Survivors include: his sons, Schyler Jones and Jody Branch; daughter, Sarah Brown; mother, Marjorie Sue Jones; brothers, Jerry Jones (Lou), Curt Jones, and Larry Jones (Marie) and sister, Linda Frawley (Pat).
Memorial services will be held at Elam Egypt Baptist Church on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 1 p.m.
