John Yuhas

Mr. John Yuhas, born June 22, 1940, passed away at his residence on February 17, 2019.

John was a decorated Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He received many medals while overseas, including the Army Commendation Metal, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart. John also served as a Police Officer at Georgia Ports Authority and had many stories to tell of his career.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Bonnie Jean; and son, Jason.

Survivors include: his stepchildren, Donald, Christopher, Sheryl, Jamie; grandchildren, Victoria, Jennifer, Jonathan, Donald, Ethan, Alexis, Sierra, and Jeremy; great grandchildren, Katherine, Evelyn and Amelia; and four daughters from a previous marriage.

John had a wit about him that kept you laughing and a big heart that will be missed by all.
