John Frederick Lord, 64, of Guyton, GA, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024, from an automobile accident.
John was a native of Marietta, GA born to the late John Thomas and Audrey Tetrault Lord on October 6, 1959. He later moved to Savannah to work with AT&T and eventually retired in 2004 from International Paper. John enjoyed coastal living in Okatie, South Carolina with his family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rhett Lord; and brother, James Joseph Lord.
John is survived by his sons, John Wesley Lord of Greenwood, SC, and Kyle Lord of Columbia, SC; grandson, Rhett G. Lord of California; brothers, Michael Lord of Pennsville, NJ, and David Lord of Kennesaw, GA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
John will be interred at Kennesaw Memorial Gardens in Marietta, GA
