John Alan Bazemore, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 14th, 2026. Alan was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was born on July 12th, 1961, in Macon, GA to his parents James K and Janet Bazemore.
A master carpenter by trade, Alan was known for his skillful craftsmanship and eye for detail. His creations were not merely wood and nails but reflections of his patience and love for his work. Beyond his professional life, Alan was a man of many passions. He was a loyal golfer and greatly enjoyed his time on the course with his nephew Jake, enjoying the camaraderie and challenge of the game. He was a dedicated fan of the Georgia Bulldogs.
Alan was also drawn to the quiet beauty of the outdoors, where he found peace and inspiration. Above all, Alan was a family man whose greatest joy came from spending time with his loved ones, especially Jake who was his greatest support over his last years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James K and Janet Bazemore.
Alan is fondly remembered by his surviving family: his dear brother, James Bazemore; his cherished sister, Joy Quinn; and his beloved nephew, James Bazemore III. Alan's family was his foundation, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
