-Rincon- Mr. Jere Franklin Landis, Jr., 26, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at his parents home.
Jere was born in Germany on July 17, 1990 to Jere, Sr. and Margaret Landis. He lived in Effingham County for a number of years where he enjoyed playing soccer, riding motorcycles, and playing pool.
Being so different made him so very special. In the words of Jere, "I do what I want," and "I am relentless."
Survivors include: his wife, Katherine Landis; parents Jere, Sr. and Margaret Landis of Rincon; sisters, Kimberly Remp of Denver, PA and Jennifer Mozeliak of Rincon; mother-in-law, Pam Perrin of Rincon; grandparents. neph-son, and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CURE Childhood Cancer, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Suite N402, Atlanta, Georgia 30338 in memory of Jere Landis, Jr.
A celebration of Jere's life will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at Daffin Park in Savannah, Georgia. Friends and Family are welcome to come.
