James "Jimmy" Earl Stringer

James Earl Stringer “Jimmy”, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at the age of 88.

Born on April 5, 1938, to his late parents Effie and Walter Stringer. Jimmy was known for his warm spirit, love of music, and passion for sports, especially the Georgia Bulldogs.

Throughout his life, Jimmy had a deep appreciation for music and sports. He enjoyed countless hours supporting his beloved Georgia Bulldogs, but music was truly his life's passion. As a musician by trade, he shared his talent with others, creating lasting memories through the gift of music and the connections it brought.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Effie and Walter Stringer.

Jimmy is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife; Tomaza Stringer, who stood by his side for many cherished years, sons; Jamie (Lori) Stringer, Ronnie (Windy) Stringer, and Jimmy Stringer Jr., grandchildren; Jessica, Shelby, and Justin Stringer, brothers; Freddie Stringer, Lynn Stringer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on October 17, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Rincon, Georgia. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate the life of a man who touched many hearts.

Jimmy will be dearly missed, but his spirit and the joy he brought into the world will be remembered always.
