Harold William Weinreich, Jr

Harold William Weinreich, Jr.,68, born on April 13, 1957, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Effingham County Hospital.

Throughout his life, Harold dedicated himself to a variety of interests that brought him immense happiness. He was an avid Mets baseball fan, often expressing his love for the game. Harold also had a deep appreciation for trains, finding wonder in their power and grace. His adventurous spirit was evident in his love for the outdoors—he thoroughly enjoyed going out in the boat and fishing. Additionally, Harold enjoyed the simple pleasures of playing card games and going camping with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Weinreich, Sr.; and brother, Dennis Weinreich.

Harold leaves behind his loving wife, Carol Weinreich; daughter, Jennifer Zabe (Michael) of Springfield; mother, Joyce Weinreich of Alpha, New Jersey; brothers Tom Weinreich and Richard Weinreich (Renee) both of Alpha, New Jersey; Debbie Weinreich of Warminster, Pennsylvania; grandson, Dallas Zabe; and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM in the chapel of the funeral home.
