Harlton Keith Cooper

Harlton Keith Cooper,71, born on February 4, 1954, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Thursday, July 24, 2025. He was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by a passion for sports and music, alongside a deep appreciation for the simple joys that life offers.

Keith’s enthusiasm for football, baseball, and racing was well known to those around him. Whether cheering for his favorite team or watching a thrilling race, his spirit was always vibrant and infectious. In addition to his love for sports, Keith had a profound appreciation for old school rock music. The melodies and rhythms resonated deeply within him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Coley and Marjorie Cooper; daughter, Regina Howard Schultz; brother, Danny Cooper; and sister, Linda Lewis.

Keith’s presence in this world has left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He leaves behind his significant other, Paula Martinez; brother, Coley Cooper, Jr. (Brenda) of Pooler; sister, Dean Bassett (Kenneth) of Millen; grandchildren, Matthew “Cody” Tipton of Statesboro, Emily Toll of Lafayette, LA and Marissa Tipton of Lafayette, LA; his beloved fur baby, Scrappy; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 11am-12pm with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral at 12pm. Burial will take place at 2pm on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in the Millen City Cemetery.
