Grady Laveare Bowers

-Rincon- Mr. Grady Laveare Bowers, 89, passed away Friday, April 13, 2018, at Effingham County Hospital.
Mr. Grady was born in Millen, Georgia on June 13, 1928 to Charlie and Mable Bowers. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, a graphic and technical artist, and a musician.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, MaryJane Hasse Bowers.
He is survived and loved by: his daughters, Vickie D. Noles (Andy) of Rincon and Bambi Jones(Debra Lane) of Guyton; granddaughter, Mandi Star Nelson (Chip) of Seneca, South Carolina; and great grandchildren, Blaze A. Nelson and Bodhi M. Nelson.
Visitation will be held at Riggs Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 11 AM - 12PM with funeral services to follow at 12PM in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will be held at 2PM in the Bonaventure Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Jeff Helmly, Donald Edmonds, Chip Nelson, Tony Walena, Joshua Smith, Blaze Nelson and Bodhi Nelson.
